DEPARTMENT OF COMPUTER applications (ug)

The department of Computer Applications was started in the year 2000 with a 3 Year Degree Programme in Bachelor of Computer Applications, affiliated to Bharathiar University. At present there are two sections in UG Programme.

OBJECTIVE 

  • To achieve the overall pass percentage of 90% for the first year, 95% for the second year and 100% for the final year UG & PG students. 
  • To conduct department seminars by inviting experts in the related field which will give students an exposure to industry. To organize department functions at the National level once a semester which encourage students to improve themselves by participating in all activities. 
  • To update hardware and software resources in laboratory to meet the challenging IT industry apart from the syllabus. 
  • To achieve Academic excellence at the university level. 
  • To enrich the students with practical Knowledge and updated technologies in the field. 
  • To provide quality placements for all students
