DURBAN UNIVERSITY OF TECHNOLOGY

Dr.SNS Rajalakshmi College of Arts and Science (Autonomous), Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu,India has signed Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Durban University of
Technology, Durban, South Africa.

Durban University of Technology has approximately 33,000 students; the Durban University
of Technology (DUT) is the first choice for higher education in KwaZulu-Natal (KZN). It islocated in the beautiful cities of Durban and Pietermaritzburg (PMB). As a University ofTechnology, it prioritises the quality of teaching and learning by ensuring its academic staffpossesses the highest possible qualification that they can get.

The Durban University of Technology is a result of the merger in April 2002 of twoprestigious technikons, ML Sultan and Technikon Natal. It was named the Durban Institute ofTechnology and later became the Durban University of Technology in line with the rest ofthe universities of technology.

DUT, a member of the International Association of Universities, is a multi-campus universityof technology at the forefront of higher education, technological training, research, andinnovation. In alignment with DUT’s strategy ENVISION 2030, the University would like tosee its people (staff, students etc) become entrepreneurial and innovative.

In 2020, DUT was ranked amongst the Top 500 Universities globally, and 10th for citations
globally and 5th nationally.

DUT has six Faculties, Accounting and Informatics, Applied Sciences, ManagementSciences, Engineering and the Built Environment, Health Sciences and Arts & Design.

Durban University of Technology and Dr.SNS Rajalakshmi College of Arts and Sciencewishing to build a mutually beneficial relationship and have entered into this MOU as per theterms and conditions set hereinafter to promote and develop the study related activities.The Following are the list of Collaborative Activities of the MoU

  7. Both the institutions shall evolve a mutually acceptable schedule to develop programmes, hold seminars and exchange visits.
  8. Academic interaction and intellectual assimilation through seminars, conferences and workshops.
  9. Emphasis given to Internship opportunities to our students to develop professional skills to meet international standard

  1. A Curriculum conversation session on “Making Learning Meaningful with Specifications Grading-A Nuanced Form of Continuous Assessment” was conducted on 20/04/2022.

UNIVERSITY OF CYBER JAYA

Dr.SNS Rajalakshmi College of Arts & Science (Autonomous), Coimbatore, Tamilnadu, India has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with University of Cyber Jaya (MOHE Reg. No: DKU 003 (B)) (formerly known as Cyberjaya University College of Medical Sciences), a university duly registered under the Private Higher Education Institutions Act 1966 and having its operating address at Persiaran Bestari, Cyber 11, Cyberjaya, Selangor.

Cyberjaya University College of Medical Sciences (CUCMS) was established on 23 October2005. The institution originally consisted of two faculties offering two bachelor's degreeprogrammes in medicine and pharmacy. It operated out of its first campus at Street Mall,Cyberjaya. In 2010, three additional faculties were established to offer allied health science,occupational safety & health, and complementary medicine programmes. It also offersCommerce, Management and Financial Accounting Programmes.

The intent of this MOU is to develop a long term, mutually beneficial relationship willendeavour to strengthen, promote and develop academic co-operation, faculty and studentexchange, research collaboration, and executive education between the Parties on the basis ofequality and mutual benefit.
