DEPARTMENT OF COMPUTER SCIENCE WITH ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE AND DATA SCIENCE

The Department of Artificial Intelligence and Data Science (AIDS) was established in the year 2022, offering a 3-year B.Sc. Artificial Intelligence and Data Science programme affiliated to Bharathiar University. Recognized among the best B.Sc. AI and Data Science colleges in Coimbatore for its innovative curriculum and industry-focused training, the department empowers students with expertise in machine learning, big data analytics, and AI-driven problem-solving. Featured in the top ranked B.Sc. AI and Data Science colleges in Coimbatore, it provides modern laboratories, real-time projects, and strong placement support to prepare graduates for careers in cutting-edge technology sectors.

OBJECTIVE

To foster intellectual excellence, creativity, and innovation by engaging students in real-time problem-solving, machine learning projects, and AI-driven applications that prepare them for future technological challenges.
To provide adequate academic facilities and digital infrastructure such as smart classrooms, cloud-based learning tools, and AI/ML laboratories to support an advanced learning environment.
To enhance the effective utilization of learning and computational resources including Python, R, TensorFlow, data visualization tools, and collaborative coding platforms, promoting hands-on experience and technical skill-building.
To empower students with the knowledge, confidence, and practical exposure needed to become industry-ready professionals in the fields of Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Machine Learning, and Big Data Analytics.

BSc CS with AI and DS is basically about storing, processing, securing, and managing information. This degree is primarily focused on subjects such as software, databases, and networking.
